About Defenestrate Media Group
Founded in 2010, Defenestrate Media Group began as a creative co-op for freelance writers, designers, and media misfits who wanted to bill clients without losing their independence, or their minds. What started as a clever workaround for invoicing quickly became something more: a space for creative freedom, collaboration, and a shared disdain for corporate nonsense.
From Freelancers to Broadcasters
In 2011, somebody turned on a microphone, and we never turned it off.
That moment launched Defenestrate Media Group into a full-blown podcast network, complete with sharp voices, big ideas, and the occasional sound of laughter echoing through our editing suites.
Our flagship show, The Left Show, dives headfirst into politics, culture, and the unpredictable ride that is modern life. It’s funny, smart, a little chaotic, and never afraid to say what everyone’s thinking.
On the geekier side of things, The Comic Book Podcast keeps our pop-culture roots strong — a weekly celebration of comics, heroes, villains, and the weird world that ties them all together.
